ICSHWI-11805: Update activation script to support require 5

Simon Rose requested to merge icshwi_11805_update_role_for_require_5 into master

This picks up the changes from require 5.0.0: the renaming of setE3Env.bash to activate, as well as the renaming of the version PVs.
