E3-550: Rephrase references to env.sh

Anders Lindh Olsson requested to merge e3-550_add_env_sh_deprecation_notices into master

Since we are removing the use of env.sh in require 4.0.0, and also are approaching a new release cycle of e3, it makes sense to already now warn users of that file's usage and existence. This MR mostly leaves in references to env.sh, but clarifies that this only is relevant for versions of require >= 3.4.1 || < 4.0.0.
