ICSHWI-8332: Cleanup

This MR does only non-functional changes; it removes template files and tidies up the formatting in various makefiles.

The entire (wrapped) module can arguably also be deleted as there is no source code - i.e. it would not serve any purpose as a non-wrapped module.
