Scanner hot-fix: do not go back to start after scan

This was a request from several in the LCR, that the scanner should not go back to 0 after the scan. This fix adds that functionality.

It has been tested in the LCR and explained to several operators/users, so I do not think there are any outstanding issues. Hence I request an immediate redeployment to have this version on all consoles, rather than waiting for next release.
